109899 Editorial Review
Brubaker [Blu-ray] [Region B German Import] offers a gripping depiction of reform in the prison system through the eyes of Henry Brubaker, played compellingly by Robert Redford. The film, based on true events involving American penologist Thomas Murton, dives into the corruption and dire conditions within a state prison. Brubaker's character challenges systemic injustices, advocating for humane treatment of inmates, as he confronts both the prisoners and prison officials. Critics praise the film for its intense storytelling and Redford's commitment to portraying a complex character. One standout feature of this Blu-ray edition is its high-definition quality, bringing the gripping narrative to life.
