Overall, customers generally appreciate the functionality of the lid stay, especially noting its ability to support cabinets and lids that require a gentle descent. Many users have described the hinge as a fantastic solution for overhead cabinets, preventing them from crashing down or failing to stay open, which enhances usability and safety in everyday operations. The product effectively slows down the descent of the lids, ensuring a more controlled closure. However, installation seems to be a hurdle for some customers. Some have found it a bit challenging to figure out how to install properly, which detracts from the overall experience. In summary, the Sugatsune Lapcon Adjustable Soft Down Lid Stay excels in functionality and effectiveness but could benefit from improved installation instructions for a smoother user experience. **
