The NewAir Portable Ice Maker is a compact countertop design that can make up to 28 pounds of ice daily. While it advertises a 5L tank, some customers were disappointed to find it only holds less than a gallon of water. However, many appreciated the fast ice-making capability and large bullet-shape ice cubes it produced. Unfortunately, some customers had issues with the ice maker breaking down after less than a year of use, and found cleaning the unit difficult. It should be noted that the ice maker does not make crushed ice.
