Preguntas y respuestas de los clientes

  • Pregunta: What is the ILM Pinlock-70 and how does it work?

Respuesta: The ILM Pinlock-70 is a state-of-the-art fog-resistant insert designed specifically for the ILM MF509 helmet model. It works by creating a dual-pane barrier that separates the external cold air from the warmer air inside the helmet. This effectively reduces the chances of condensation forming on the visor, ensuring clear visibility in various weather conditions. For riders, having this feature means you can enjoy a safer and more comfortable ride, free from the annoyance of a fogged-up visor that could obstruct your view.
  • Pregunta: Is the ILM Pinlock-70 compatible with other helmet models?

Respuesta: The ILM Pinlock-70 is primarily designed for the ILM MF509 model and may not fit perfectly with other helmets. It’s crafted specifically to match the dimensions and locking mechanisms of the MF509. Attempting to use it on a different helmet could compromise its fog-resistant functionality. Riders looking for optimal performance should ensure they are purchasing accessories compatible with their specific helmet model to maintain safety and clarity during rides.
  • Pregunta: How do I install the ILM Pinlock-70 on my helmet?

Respuesta: Installing the ILM Pinlock-70 is a straightforward process. First, ensure your helmet is clean and dry to facilitate a secure fit. Align the Pinlock insert with the visor's pins located at the sides of the helmet visor. Gently press down until you hear a click, indicating that it has been successfully locked in place. Proper installation is crucial for maximizing its effectiveness, so take your time to follow these steps closely to enjoy a fog-free riding experience.
  • Pregunta: Can the ILM Pinlock-70 be cleaned?

Respuesta: Yes, the ILM Pinlock-70 can be cleaned, but it's important to use the right methods to avoid damaging it. Use a mild soap solution and a soft microfiber cloth to gently wipe the insert. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, as these can scratch the surface and compromise its fog-resistant properties. Keeping the Pinlock clean not only maintains its clarity but also ensures optimal performance during your rides.
  • Pregunta: What are the benefits of using the ILM Pinlock-70 for motorcycle riders?

Respuesta: The ILM Pinlock-70 offers numerous benefits for motorcycle riders, primarily enhancing visibility and safety. By preventing fog build-up, it allows riders to maintain clear eyesight without constantly adjusting their visors. Additionally, it improves overall comfort, especially during temperature fluctuations, such as when riding from cold to warmer areas. This means that riders can focus on the road ahead, ensuring a more enjoyable and safer riding experience.
  • Pregunta: Is the ILM Pinlock-70 suitable for all weather conditions?

Respuesta: Yes, the ILM Pinlock-70 is designed to perform well in various weather conditions. It effectively combats fogging during humid or rainy weather, providing enhanced clarity. However, it's important to remember that while it significantly reduces the likelihood of fogging, extreme temperatures can still affect visibility. Riders looking to use their helmets in diverse climates will find the Pinlock-70 to be a reliable accessory to ensure a clearer view at all times.
  • Pregunta: How do I ensure the ILM Pinlock-70 stays effective?

Respuesta: To keep your ILM Pinlock-70 effective, regularly check for any damages or wear that may develop over time. Avoid touching the inner surface to prevent oils from your fingers from compromising its fog-resistant technology. Store your helmet in a cool, dry place when not in use, and clean the insert as needed. By taking these precautionary measures, you can significantly extend the life and effectiveness of your Pinlock insert.
  • Pregunta: What materials are used in the ILM Pinlock-70?

Respuesta: The ILM Pinlock-70 is constructed from high-quality, optical-grade polycarbonate materials that enhance durability while remaining lightweight. This design ensures that the insert does not add significant weight to the helmet while effectively performing its fog-resistant duties. The choice of materials also contributes to the insert's ability to withstand the rigors of motorcycling, making it a reliable choice for avid riders.
  • Pregunta: Where can I buy ILM Pinlock-70 for Model MF509?

Respuesta: You can buy the ILM Pinlock-70 for Model MF509 at Ubuy. They provide a convenient platform to find this specific accessory tailored to your helmet, ensuring you have the right product for optimal performance.
  • Pregunta: Does the ILM Pinlock-70 come with a warranty?

Respuesta: The ILM Pinlock-70 typically does not come with a warranty, as it is considered a consumable item that may need replacement due to wear over time.
