The software is where the device truly falls apart. Pre-installed games on the X55, particularly 8-bit and 16-bit Console games, do not utilize the wide screen, resulting in black bars or distracting wallpaper surrounding the game display. Additionally, games from later Consoles like PSP and PlayStation 1 either fail to load or run terribly, with lag and sound issues.
