The meter can read the voltage on a 24volt thermostat, can be used on a truck with a 24volt system, and can take readings on liquids as long as they are non-corrosive. The product is well made and the price is reasonable, making it a great size for using around the house or on a job site. The negative/com lead may become loose in the meter causing issues. Accuracy for temperature measurement is questionable.
