Google Cloud Platform in Action First Edition

The editorial review for "Google Cloud Platform in Action" is mixed. While one user found the book to be a high-level marketing material with some examples that may not be applicable to all readers, another user found it to be a well-written book that provided a good overview of Google Cloud Platform services. However, some users mentioned that the book is hard to read due to the technical jargon and lack of proper introduction to concepts and software used on the Google Cloud. The review suggests that the book does not effectively fulfill the promise of its title and may not cover all the necessary technical aspects or key topics, such as VPC networks, which are essential for deploying a cloud implementation. Additionally, it is mentioned that the book may be more suited for project managers due to its detailed cost breakdown of services. From the various user feedback, it is apparent that the book provides a good overview of Google Cloud Platform, but may lack in-depth technical coverage and proper introduction to concepts and software, making it difficult for some readers to understand and implement non-trivial systems. **
