    Respuesta: This is an aggressive drill bit. It doesn't make the cleanest holes. But I must say that these are the best bits I've ever used. If you need a hole in wood...it makes it.

    Respuesta: Of course! Run proper RPM rather fast Witt wood. Clamp wood be careful when you break thru to avoid injury. You may have to raise wood up on blocks to avoid drilling into table of drill press when breaking thru.

They are not recommended for drilling into wood with nails; instead, use Ship Auger Bits with WeldTec™ by Irwin. Reviewers generally like these bits for their durability and value for money.
