Many customers have successfully used it on a variety of projects, including lawn equipment, dump trailers, and even smaller iron features around their homes. Reviews emphasize that preparation is key; cleaning the metal surface thoroughly and applying a thin and even coat leads to optimal results. Users have noted the impressive durability of the coating, as it dries to a rock-hard finish and adheres well, requiring minimal application for significant coverage. The product is also noted for its versatility, being effective not only in automotive applications but also in household projects and commercial uses. Customers appreciate that they found the coating suitable for protecting against rust from exposure to various elements and even acid spills. However, it's worth noting that the application process requires caution. Reviews suggest working in a well-ventilated area and being meticulous to avoid spills, as once applied, the coating can be difficult to remove from skin or surfaces. A few users also pointed out that it’s not a topcoat and should be used with Consideratin to further weather exposure. One notable tip shared by users was to utilize a syringe for easier application without creating a mess, showcasing the community's spirit of sharing helpful insights for achieving the best results. Overall, the Consensus is that POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating is a reliable solution for long-lasting rust protection if properly applied, making it a recommended choice for those looking to maintain their metal items effectively. **
