- Somfy Eolis 3D WireFree RTS Wind Sensor The Eolis 3D WireFree™ RTS Wind Sensor is a wireless, battery-powered wind sensor that will automatically retract an awning based on wind generated movements. Featuring the Eolis 3D WireFree RTS is installed discreetly on the front bar. It can be installed quickly with no special tools. Programming is extremely simple and should take no more than a few minutes. An added measure of wind protection that is accurate and reliable due to Somfy’s patented, exclusive technology. 100% wireless... With no wires to connect, the Eolis 3D WireFree™ RTS can be installed quickly. The sensor draws power from two 'AAA' batteries. And above all, maintenance-free The Eolis 3D WireFree™ RTS is durable and needs no maintenance. When the battery level is low, an indicator warns the end-user, who can easily replace the batteries without assistance.The Auto-Save function means that removing the sensor prevents any unwanted movement of the awning. Memorization of the settings means there's no need to reprogram the sensor. Intuitive programming: With the sensor installed on the front bar of the awning, simply shake the awning with your hand to record in the sensor’s memory the magnitude of movement that should not be exceeded. This adjustment can also be set using a potentiometer control within the sensor's enclosure.
