Dupli-Color Custom Wrap Removable Coatings, Stellar Blue, 11 oz

The Dupli-Color ECWRC8217 Custom Wrap Effects Removable Automotive Paint in Stellar Blue has garnered a mixed reception from customers, showcasing a blend of praise and criticism regarding its application and finished look. Many enthusiasts appreciate the unique colorshift effect, emphasizing the necessity of a dark base layer—primarily matte black—to achieve the desired outcome. The results can be visually striking when applied correctly, with some users reporting success in transforming their vehicles, such as motorcycles, into eye-catching masterpieces with careful application of multiple layers. However, the product's durability comes under scrutiny, with users noting that the colorshift finish can be rubbery and susceptible to scratches. This became a notable downside for some customers, who expressed concerns over its gas resistance and overall longevity when exposed to typical wear-and-tear. In contrast, there are negative experiences reflected in the reviews, with some users feeling misled by the product name and cap illustration. Complaints about the color being more glittery than the expected blue have emerged, alongside accusations of insufficient pigment in some cans. This has resulted in frustration for those hoping to achieve a chameleon effect, leading to the conclusion that the paint may not meet everyone’s expectations. In summary, while the Dupli-Color ECWRC8217 Custom Wrap Effects Removable Automotive Paint can deliver impressive results when used properly, customers should navigate its limitations with care and be mindful of necessary preparations like applying a suitable base coat. **
