    Respuesta: No, hand wash is recommended. It is not dishwasher safe.

    Respuesta: This knife is made in Japan.

  • Pregunta: Is the rounded end sharp or should I go with pointed end?

    Respuesta: For what you want, you need a pointed edge. We use the rounded end. Our first one only lasted 22 years. We recently bought a new one.
  • Pregunta: Does this knife come in an original Mac product box?

    Respuesta: Yes, and it is definitely the best knife you can buy. You can cut everything with it from carrots to watermelon. I do recommend you buy a knife sharpener, as it will continue to cut like a razor blade if you use the sharpener every few days.
  • Pregunta: Can you tell me if the blade is 5" or is the entire knife 5"?

    Respuesta: SP-50 blade is 5 inches. Knife with handle is about 9 inches.
  • Pregunta: Does the Mac superior series have a hole near the tip of the blade? My Mac santoku superior does not.

    Respuesta: Yes. I own two Mac Superior paring knives and they both have the hole in the end.
  • Pregunta: Where to buy a replacement MAC 6.5" (tip-to-where handle starts) w/hole to hang it: the middle knife of a set of three on a wall-mounted hang strip?
