MSD Control Units Editorial Review
The MSD Ignition 6530 Programmable 6AL Ignition Box receives mixed reviews from customers. Some customers have had positive experiences with the product, noting its precise and adjustable built-in rev limiters. They find it easy to use and appreciate its functionality. However, there are also some complaints about the product. One customer mentioned that the ignition box worked for a short period of time after installation but then started misfiring continuously. This issue seems to be a common defect as it is mentioned on several forums. Another customer had a positive experience with the product after some initial setup issues. They found an article that helped them dial in the timing and are now satisfied with the hardware. Overall, the MSD Ignition 6530 Programmable 6AL Ignition Box has both positive and negative feedback from customers. It seems to work well for some customers and is appreciated for its adjustability and ease of use. However, there are also issues with misfiring and potential defects in the product.
