Rocktron Audio Interfaces PatchMate Loop 8 Editorial Review
The Rocktron PatchMate Loop 8 Floor Pedal is a versatile and reliable tool for controlling presets and switching loops of pedals. The FAQ section clarifies that a separate midi controller is required to change channels on Mesa amplifiers and confirms that this pedal can be used as a replacement for a Midimate. The editorial review mentions that this product allows configuration of up to 8 loops and highlights its durability and excellent design. However, the review also points out that the absence of a built-in HUSH is a drawback and that the product is much bigger and heavier than expected. Additionally, some customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the placement of pedal buttons, the need for multiple cables to connect buttons, and the misleading midi plugs that require an expensive additional controller. One customer also reported a refund dispute with the seller.
