    Respuesta: Thes are made in Korea so this is translated. I believe they just mean they are high performance or good quality. Which they are.

    Respuesta: I would think they would be okay so long as you are not dipping them into the paint or stain. These do have a pretty tight weave. The palm part has a rubbery covering so that would definitely be protected.
